Senior Medical Receptionist
PartridgeGP was established 2014 in Glenelg – Adelaide’s iconic beachside suburb. We grew in 2019 to prominent custom-built rooms and we remain GP owned and led. We are fully accredited and are an award-winning training practice. Our administration team plays an integral part of our mission to provide professional, comprehensive, empowering and sustainable healthcare to our patients.
We are currently seeking a Senior Medical Receptionist to join our supportive practice team and contribute to provision of excellent services to our patients, doctors, allied health team and co-workers.
This position is offered as a full or part time position, however willingness to work five days – Monday to Friday is a must. Very occasionally, a Thursday evening or Saturday morning may be required.
This is a pivotal role, with advancement opportunities, if desired. You will be contributing to the smooth and efficient day to day running of our Practice. As such, we require the following:
Essential skills:
- – Understanding of the general business operations of a medical practice
- – Recent experience in a fast-paced, busy general practice.
- – Advanced understanding of Best Practice
- – Comprehensive knowledge of Private billing, WorkCover and Medicare
- – Professional, high level customer service skills
- – Mature and empathetic approach when dealing with patients.
- – Great organisational skills, ability to multi task
- – Pro-active/”CAN–DO” approach
- – Ability to demonstrate and encourage leadership and teamwork
Desirable Skills:
- – Marketing & Advertising to attract new patients, retain and rebook existing
- – Knowledge of Halaxy, Cliniko and Cubiko software
Senior Role responsibilities:
- – Support the reception team to excel in their responsibilities
- – Liaise with patients and their families in a compassionate manner.
- – High level of attention to detail and time management.
- – Communicate with respect and integrity
- – Support the management team to achieve practice goals
Reception responsibilities
- – Maintain a cheerful and professional manner at all times when liaising with patients, clients and the PartridgeGP team
- – Schedule appointments, answer phones, process patient accounts and manage correspondence
