PartridgeGP is growing and we are here for the General Practice Nurses of the future to join our practice team.

In the modern world, flexibility is paramount, and so we are comfortable with casual, part time, and full time hours for the right applicants.

You will contribute to clinical excellence at PartridgeGP:

Your smile will shine through, in person, over telehealth, or on the phone as you interact with the heart-lift patients of PartridgeGP. We have a great cohort of patients that we serve in many ways; we are constantly improving our systems to deliver them better care.

-Treatment room nursing – wound care, dressings, assisting with suturing and minor procedures

-Surgical assisting with skin cancer procedures – from biopsies to lesion removal to small grafts

-All types of immunisations – National Immunisation Program/Childhood Vaccinations/Flu clinics/Travel vaccines/COVID vaccinations – Pfizer and AZ

-Care planning and Enhanced Primary Care through Medicare and DVA CVC – education, preventative health coaching, supporting our GPs and patients with recalls and proactive care

-Managing your professional space and role – health promotion, stock control, accreditation, infection control – all the way to being an integral part of the management team at PartridgeGP.

Patient engagement is defined as the desire and capability to actively choose to participate in care in a way uniquely appropriate to the individual, in cooperation with a healthcare provider or institution, for the purposes of maximizing outcomes or improving experiences of care. Patient engagement is a fundamental strategy for achieving patient centred care. Patient centred care has been proven to be more satisfying for the care team to deliver and has better outcomes for patients.

The successful applicants will be working in a fast paced busy practice. We are looking for character and spirit and will have some amazing training for you. A willingness to learn, curiosity, and comfort with technology and computers are also key attributes.

PartridgeGP is fully computerised and AGPAL accredited. Fit testing and appropriate systems ensure a COVID-safe workplace for your health and the health of our patients. Telehealth through phone and video is supported and encouraged when needed.
